Survival Mode Online Scotes
I've implemented 2 new things to PP.
1- Online Scores for Survival Mode. Once you start survival mode, your kills are recorded online. ONce you die, they are posted with a username of your choice, and a window opens with the scores. THANK YOU Zack for assisting me in setting this up.

PsychoPandomium News
I've released the new update. I put "Graphics Inspired by 10800 Zombies" to make ppl happy. it has survival mode which ur Ina huge room and try to kill as many enemies as u can b4 u die. I made the jumping more realistic. I'm looking for an artist to do more realistic art for this game. I may decide to change the style, and maybe not. Any way PP is 4.3/5 on GJ.

Big blood. Added blood behind blocks as well, and on the bats as well. Opening text. No enemy glitches too. Also, I added surroundings. Cans that explode, and lamps that break. Also, instead of premade words, you can go into options, and set what the four sentences are to whatever you want.

To start off GamePod #1 I'll be reviewing my favorite GameMaker game of all time. It's called Super Mega Ultra Poorly Drawn Man. It's by creator LWB, and features a unique platform interface with a simple to pick up and play style, with gameplay that makes you pick it up again and again. It has Simplistic drawn on paper graphics, with a look that astounds you with it's originality, the sketchiness, but also beauty.
Running, jumping, dying. Most indie GameMaker games are like this. So is SMUPDM. And it does it almost flawlessly. The levels are fairly well build, and the graphics for the floors look like LWB spent a good time on his tilesets. I love how it plays out.
Controls are simple, and easy to reach. Not har on my fingers. Meh...
Sound was good, fitting to the game. It was jumpy and let me enjoy the game. Without it the game would lose a bit of appeal, but the game holds up with the music on mute.
Ah the cons. Unfortunatley the cons were a bit of a noob. This occured some what frequently,but only made a slight falter on the game. SMUPDM sometimes... Yes ... He got stuck on the walls.
I give this game an overall 4/5. Although the bug wasn't good, it held it's own, and place as my favorite GM game of all time. And no, Iji is NOT in the top 25.
PIEMAN RULES seems like a noob. But as you don't judge a nook by it's cover, don't judge a user by his name.
I'm covering his 4th if what seems like 20 WTFWIT games. Although it's not close to my favorite, his dedication to these games is remarkable.
WTFWIT covers Flying Turd Monkey and his adventures. This games graphics initially disapointed me. Although they are really editted Nintendo Sprites, they gave the seizure filled game it was meant to be.
Gameplay was decnt, with the occasional glitch. The game contained good boss battles, and it's randomness kept me entertained.
Sound gave me a headache. It was a bit to psyhadelic for me. Overall. I give this a 3/5. While the gameplay and the original parts were good, I was just annoyed at the rest. Unless you want to spend 20 minutes of ok-ness and 2 hours of bad head ache on this game, I suggest you vear away from WTFWIT. I ask you. What the f*** is up with this?

GroundZeroGamez is the home to Zack064. It hosts a good, sleek, Black and red theme. He creates good games, ad his site is updated alot with his long, and short fun to make, or contest entries.
He also has a page for online scores. It's cool to see my name in 2nd place on some. I like this site. I think with a blog and maybe a guestbook, I'd favorite this site. I give it a 4.75/5.

I have added to the PreAlpha, opening cutscenes, a ReadMe with instructions that opens at the begining ofthe game, as well as it included I the (to be) zip. I have also added custom dialogues. Originally you could say 4 things. Now you just say 0. But it you go into Options, then DIalogue, you can customize the four sentences you say. I'm working on making it say "..." instead of 0.

PsychoPandomium Pre-Alpha Released!
Ok im uploading a new version. Not only was more stuff added(faster player, easier to kill bats, selected option is yellow) there is enemy hp. they always had hp, but now you can see it above the enemies head.

Taught GM
I decided to teach my friend a bit of GameMaker. He made his first game using built in effects image angle, and his ow made sprites. For a first game with help from me, I think it's pretty good.
Also, in a last second I decided to enter QOGs retro horror comp, ending tomorow. U entered with a defend your tower-esque shooter in which u blow up trucks, helicopters and people... It's called Quogog (I don't know!)

Create-A-Slime, and Y! Premium
I've been working on a sequel to my popular game, Yoshenga (Added on Softpedia) called Yoshenga: Premium Edition, and it's pretty good
It has a bunch of races, and I was inspired for this topic by THG's Planetoid competition.
What I'm looking for:
Create a race of slimes of creatures in a cartoony way, either using the slime template as a base, or drawing your own. We will select 3 races to be in the game.
Here is the basic slime template:

Gear Physics- My first Puzzle game
Please bear with me- This is an Idea but I have a basic engine already.
[b]Gear Physics[/b]
The game is based on a grid in a factory. You have run out of power and need to refuel. All you have ar gears and need to use the gears to collect electrical boxes.
Red areas of the factory are spread through each800x600 level. You can only place gears in the red areas. When two or more gears touch, they begin to spin, allowing more parts go be added. By using gears to connect to poles and longer rotating parts you can collect the electic boxes with the swinging gears. Also, workers move back and forth on platforms. Killing a worker or having a gear hit a platform will cause you to lose the mission.
[b]Types of gears[/b]
there are three categories
Gears- cone in 3 sizes- small, medium and large
Rod- one type, do not spin, are long and can transfer energy fro one gear to another. By placing them on a gear on one side and the other end on another gear
Spin Gears- two sizes long, and exta long. These are used to collect the boxes. They are gears on rods, and spin allowing the gear on one end to swing outside of the red areas to collect boxes.
also, you will be limited to a certain number of gears per level.

A Story
I wrote a story on sexual abuse-
Crakked
Slut. It's a poweful word. As I look up at my hospice nurse I can only think of how I came to be here. It was not so long ago. Only 13 years.
Of course, being 18 isn't all it's cut out to be. Balancing school, chear, and my Dad are three totally differey things. It was Dad who got me into cheer. He told me I looked so beautiful and he adored watching me. My mom never came to my meets. After I had returned from homecoming, I heard them fighting. "David, they look at you, it's not right! God dammit, what have you become!?" then I heard more. And the word again. Slut. Slut! SLUT!
I drifted away, into a world of dream.
My Dad used to call me that, so I figured it was a compliment. With all the groans and love mom gves Dad after he calls her that, I came to the assumption It was. Ever since I was four Dad loved to kiss me good night. That's how I got the name.
"it's ok, it's not dirty" he used to tell me. I knew it wasn't. I think. He told me to grasp it, to spit on it. Then he said it to me again. Slut. I asked him what it meant. He told me that he loved me, and that mommy was coming home soon. "this is our little secret, I'm yours honey." I knew from my friends that this is a sign to keep a secret.
He did this up until I was eleven. And then it stopped. One day I got dressed up and went to a large room. I think it was. Court. I wad told later that my Dad had gained full custody after the divorce case. Divorce? When? How? WHY?
When me and Dad go home he locked the door behind him. I started to cry as he removed his belt. I thought he was going to beat me. He told me to come over, and kiss him. "kiss here. It feels good. I love you"
I began to be called the word a lot. I love you. Slut. Come with m. Slut. Get to bed. Slut. I had begun to start liking boys at 13 an my sex dreams got wild. I soon realized what I had become. And Daddy feared this day, when his little toy woul be a woman. I learned about it in sex Ed. I didn't know what to do. Daddy did. "slut, get over here. You can't go to school anymore, it's... Broke." I had only to wonder. This went on for a while.
At 17 I began drinking. My boyfriend atthe time, Jake was going into the military. He taught me how to use his 9mm. H taught me to shoot, to aim, and to cock. Funny words. I'd heard them before... Than I knew what to do. I had my plan. No Daddy would stop me. I would cock, lock and load. Bo ex would stop me.
I got my 9mm, and A bottle of pure alcohol. I went to the CVS and ordered a whole jar oxicodine. If only my Dd loved me. If only staring at who I had become, the gun in my hand had stopped me. Afte that there was no one to stop me. I drank, and popped. It was all over. 1 to asylum. 2 to morgue.

PsychoPandomium Beta Ready!
The Beta for PP is actually ready. It was here quicker than expected. I planned on having more to the options menu, but figured that the codes for that would take a bit too long, and didnt want to make you wait even longer. Still, no beta in this post. Or video. The blood is updated like HECK! it looks much better. The game is harder. Also, I should have the video done in 30 mins-1 hour. Than in 1 hour after-1 day a beta should be released!!!

Blogging software!
I do a good 25% of blogging on my iPod touch so I'm always looking for better software. Right now I'm using blogpress and about to try cellspin. If you have any suggestions on preferably free software to blog only iPod please leave a comment.

We need missions
We need mission ideas for PP. So far I plan on a mission about having the need to get a box of supplies I enemy territory, have a kill all enemies battle, gather intel mission, boss mission. I need 4 good ones before I release the beta. Please comment with ur ideas.

I recently created, and setup the image for my blog. It doesnt surpass Amidos' which is pretty sick, but it goes with the style, and its at least decent. What do you think? I think it makes it look more custmoized and professional, so i like it! :)

My Issues, and PP!
I usually am stuck on projects. I want to be more of a commercial developer. I realize that i want to be respected amongts average teen gamers, and NOT just the Indie game community. That's where i hope to go with PP(PsychoPandomium)
I started this project a while ago, but couldnt do much. People loved the feel and the graphics, but I couldnt think of originality for it.
But I have my idea, and I've begun fleshing out more terrains and monsters. Other than the average cannibal in PP, i've just sprited a demon crab. Its going well. I hope to actually finish this. Heres an image of the new PP Crab-
The blue at the bottom... Unfortunatley i got him when he was blue(they are random colors) so hes a bit hard to see in the water.

It contains 5 levels, a small opening screen, and a simple loading screen that tells how to play(will have a tutorial though)

I have a new idea, and It's good, with graphics and a basic engine.
Youth In Asia "Euthanasia"
Get it?
You play as an immune system trying to fight off a cyanide virus you were injected with, after being falsely accused of murder. Fight off the virus by swinging, collecting, and blowing up!
It uses rope like physics, that allow you to swing around the mouse.

Finished
Were done with Y! We fixed the tutorial so it's easier to understand and it's uploaded on ALL sites. My new major project could take a year. I want to make a 3d first person fame builder. Mechanics so far added are ability to change the ground and sky to whatever image you want. We will soon have some objects in, and a ground. Right now we have a mountain range working.

I will be relooking at the tutorial, and making some revisions to make the game easier to understand.
Yoshenga and Blog
I think the Yoshenga online now is the final one. We may add in some other monsters, and will fix bugs but it's pretty much done. The maps are beautiful and I can now focus on GOC.

Yoshenga! Update, not online.
We are planning on adding something to increase the fun, graphics, replay, and length. Maps. We plan on having 3 maps, the basic Spring one (now) a fall one, and a winter one.
Here is an image of the fall map.
We plan on doing this in a good way.
Map 1- 8 waves
Map 2- 6 Waves
Map 3- 9 waves
Overall- 23 waves and 3 hours of gameplay.

Yoshenga SE
You may be wondering about Yoshenga SE. We hve decided to simply make it a large update, and make it free. We've been advertising alot, and are doing everything we can to get this game featured.
Update will have:
Particle effects when you break blocks, not bad pixels, as well as for the blood.
At least one more song, choosable, track 1,2 of mute.
Contain secret halloween holiday creatures not viewable in almanac, like a pumpkin.
Please note we will have some of these done tomorow so check the large Y! Servers.

All versions of free yoshenga have been uploaded to YoYoGames, GameJolt and 2BeeGames. If we cannot get the ability to create a pay for version of yoshenga we will make it so you must enter anpassword to play it, that you get when you beat the free version. We have plans for a Yoshenga 2 with double the units, more waves and songs, and particle effects.

Special Edition
I have made a decision to do alot on yoshenga. 1) what I've done- added in many things, units do not get stuck to walls, and now a litle - 1 etc. Symbol will show when any unit is attacked, or when you dig soul, and plus 2 icon for nurished soil. 2) to be added we will add a option screen to say if you want music, or a sound mute feature. Will also have a better ending dialogue.
3) Special edition, the above is free, we will be making a site and selling yoshenga for 4.99 USD. It will have the above features plus the option to chose from 5 different background songs. Instead of the free seven waves it will contain a total of 14 for over 2 hours of gameplay. It will contain a boss as well, after wave 7.

Public alpha
Were getting closer to releasing a public alpha stage of GOC. I've created 4 basic levels and a way to lose. We will release once we have 10 levels, a title screen ad some music. Also, were getting great thoughts on Yoshenga. There are some very small changes we might be making. All it will be is some new options for music. That's it. Have a nice day.

Second alpha
I released a second alpha somewhere in the midst of a gamejolt chatroom for GOC. More importantly, we have some great features going, like a visual timer, and the begining of a game over system. I still need to sprite out arnold, and random people to have fun killing, as well as a gun. Since I'm free tomorow I guess I'll show up with a new pre-alpha release.I should be able to have a small alpha up by next week, on the gmc, which as always, I'll link you too.

Yoshenga! Some Bugs, Almost Fixed
We had some bugs in the Previous version. Loading wasn't working. We created a fake load for now, so no errors will occur, but we should have a real loading up in a bit. Also, GOC should have another Alpha soon. I'm working on the 15 second timer.

Yoshenga!, Finally Completed,
Yoshenga! Has been completed. Yoshenga! could be one of the best FreeWare indie strategy games. You play as God in a quest to save a race from extinction after ghosts took over the kingdoms castle. By breaking blocks, and killing enemies, you begin to free the castle of enemies. It contains over an hour of gameplay for those who haven't played it, and trust me, and my friends, you'll want to, and will last until the end. It starts off easy, but you probably will lose at least once. I'm looking for some sites to cover it, since the idea is pretty original, the game is good, and well, It deserves it. We hope to get a feature on YoYo, although we don't need it. I'll edit in the game linkage soon. While you wait, I'll keep you occupied with some images.

How to play: You are a suicide bomber, and have 3 supplies to make a bomb. The suitcase at the end of the level has the rest. You need to hide the supplies from the cops by finding a way of electricuting, or lighting on fire. Yourself to hide the supplies. Once you use a resource it stops providing fire/ elec also if you don't do the above for a period of 15 sec the cops will catch you and you'll get arrested. And yes Arnold S. Will be there.
Also, you have a gun, so if you want to shoot random things and people, it just creates more blood and gives you a higher score, bomb finding AI is to stupid to stop you.
Graphics - a light brown/ tan background, simple cute black pixels for everything else. Oh, and blood, it's red.
